My Connection to Avraham

Sondra is my given name - the Hebrew name I go by is Zahava. I spelled out Sondra in Hebrew. I did teshuvah/repented Erev Shavous and this gematria is 2328. In Lecha Lecha chapter 17 the gematria of 2328 is what you see in yellow high-light and what I underlined in the English. THE VERSE ABOVE IT, as well as the next verse, has my Hebrew name Zahava equally spaced by 31 letters! the Hebrew letter "ב" is connected to Avraham! The father of all converts! 31 is the gematria of G-d (everyone has a spark of G-d and I am NOT saying I am G-d as NO HUMAN BEING can be G-d) So HaShem and His Torah knew that Sondra would be called Zahava! Isn't this amazing!?!?!?!

My Dialogue with Christian Missionary June Sheldon of Shelly & June Volk Ministries

It all began with a question that I found on one of Rabbi Tovia Singer's facebook accounts.

June Volk - shown here with her husband Sheldon (Shelly) had made a comment on Rabbi Singer's video on "original sin". The comments were closed so there was no response to her question. What do I do? I am eager to answer her question of course! And so I reach out to her and leave the response with a snapshot of the video with her question. This post has been removed from June Volk's personal facebook ...the reason why is below. Actually, I am tickled that our dialogue has rattled her to remove ALL her information and posts! Update... drat she just blocked me. When time allows, because of this encounter, I will go after other Christians that are targeting Jews to convert. But let us pray Moshiach will be here and I will no longer need to do this.

I must mention on this same thread was a comment I made to her that I had Volk DNA with many of my DNA matches' trees. (I do this with every encounter I have - yep, straight away I go to my DNA matches to see if there would be a match with the family name.

On with my dialogue with June Volk..... she is very tickled that I posted this Volk comment and asked me to contact her so she can get my address to mail me her encounter with Yaskah that changed her life. [RED FLAG] I made no response to this (and all along I am telling myself.....no thank you - been there done that). I am the one that picks up all the missionary tracts and DVD's that are left on the doorsteps in my neighborhood - I may have a video of me burning this on sidewalk on my site. I will have to check.

So next I message June Volk with the following and our exchange is as follows:

Christian Missionary Tactic comes next - as June Volk wants to know in a around about way if I am a secular Jew with no Torah Mesorah background: She likes me...!

We end our dialogue on messenger and send comments back and forth on Facebook. This is where June Volk turns from liking me to taking "stabs" at me. I did not mention to her that I was a convert. Then the time was ripe for me to tell her this. And now for the Facebook comments: (I did not have the foresight to snip earlier snapshots of comments until I saw that she was editing her comments to me)

I wrote and sang the following to June and copied Rabbi Tovia Singer's words "June Volk (Don’t, though, seek out miraculous life-changing events as your guide to God’s sacred truth. Look to the Bible alone for this eternal instruction. Once you have committed your life to truth in the God of Israel, joyously take part in the spiritual food it provides. Never permit spiritual expressions to become your barometer for truth. Your foundation must be the Jewish Scriptures alone.)

I failed to post section on messenger regarding her Orthodox husband Sheldon/Shelly Volk.

So we have 2 secular Jews that chose not to reach out to their Jewish brethren that keep the Mesorah. The chose instead to follow the gods of the Christian nation that have been trying to kill the Jews all along. Let us pray that she and her husband does teshuva and returns to the EMES of the One and Only G-d of Israel!.

Xtian New Testament in Yiddish

In the late 19th and early 20th century Protestant Christians made a concerted effort to convert American Jews. Key to this mission was translating the New Testament into Yiddish, the community’s lingua franca. But for Henry Einspruch, the author of the first complete Yiddish translation, the motivation was as much literary as religious. Einspruch, a Jewish-born Polish convert who eventually became a Protestant minister, was a writer and editor steeped in Yiddish literature.
Einspruch’s translation, not published until 1941, gives Der Bris Khodeshe a distinctive Jewish flavor. At the Last Supper, Jesus and his disciples munch on matzah and, in the Book of Revelation, seven shofars are blown instead of seven horns. Even the volume’s illustrations seem designed to appeal to Jews. In one, an old man with a long white beard, a tallit, and a yarmulke reads a book by candlelight. The image places the New Testament in the familiar context of scholars studying ancient texts late into the night.
Der Bris Khodeshe was appreciated in the Yiddish literary world despite its author’s mission. Meylekh Ravitsh, a Yiddish writer in Mexico City, praised the translation and encouraged Jews to read it. “The New Testament [is] one of the most important books in the world. How, then, can we Jews afford to ignore it?” And with details like matzah-munching disciples and shofars ringing in the air, why would they want to?

LGBT Pride Participants - LISTEN WELL

Siddur Avodos Yisrael lists psalms to recite each Sabbath of the year, corresponding to the Torah readings. How fitting that Tehillim 65 was this past Shabbat's Parsha Eikev reading. It came on the hills of the LGBT pride parade in the holy city of Jerusalem! Shame on the LGBT community - as well as the instigators.

Artscroll heads the chapter with the following: A prayer for the time when people will realize the futility of rebelling against G-d, and will completely accept His mastery.

And the verses that stood out for me when I read it.....

5 I said to the perverse, "Do not behave perversely," and to the wicked, "Do not raise the horn.
 ה אָמַ֣רְתִּי לַ֖הֽוֹלְלִים אַל־תָּהֹ֑לּוּ וְ֜לָֽרְשָׁעִ֗ים אַל־תָּרִ֥ימוּ קָֽרֶן
6 Do not raise your horn on high, [do not] speak with [your] fat neck.ואַל־תָּרִ֣ימוּ לַמָּר֣וֹם קַרְנְכֶ֑ם תְּדַבְּר֖וּ בְצַוָּ֣אר עָתָֽק:

Artscroll translates:
I said to the unruly revelers, be not unruly; and to the wicked, raise not your pride. Raise not heavenward your pride, with a haughty neck nor speak insolence.
Teshuva is in order. I would very much like to see my Jewish brothers and sisters written in the Book of Life.As of now, they are the walking dead. The month of Elul begins in a few days. Please do teshuva!
