Israeli Flag is the Ensign/Banner to Gather the Jews from the 4 Corners

יב  וְנָשָׂא נֵס לַגּוֹיִם, וְאָסַף נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וּנְפֻצוֹת יְהוּדָה יְקַבֵּץ, מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפוֹת הָאָרֶץ.

12 And He will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

RASHI: And he shall raise a banner: Perka, perche in O.F. [i.e., the verse is literally referring to the pole upon which the banner is attached.] And it shall be for a sign to gather to him and to bring the exiles of Israel to Him as a present.

The fact that the United Nations voted in favor of the formation of the Jewish state was itself a miracle for several reasons [only 33 voted in favor of the new Israeli state, 10 voted against it, and 10 abstained]. The first is that it was the verse: "Then I too, will treat them as happenstance and bring them [back while] in the land of their enemies. If then, their dogged heart becomes humbled, then [their sufferings] will gain appeasement for their iniquity, and I will remember My covenant [with] Ya'akov, and also My covenant [with] Avraham I will remember. And I will remember the Land..."(Vayikra 26:41-42)

The significance of the UN vote can only be fully appreciated after knowing the following: According to Rabbeinu HaGR"A if we don't merit it, the beginning of the redemption will occur like in the days of Koresh and of the Second Temple, from the left side, that is from the Trait of Judgment. I GOT YOUR ATTENTION? Now when Moshiach is finally announced, our Torah, which is held high on 2 wooden poles, will indeed be this banner. Let the Israeli flag also be a banner for us.
